Extras you need to know

Deposits:
Deposits are £100 per cabin for up to 7 nights– balance payable eight weeks prior to arrival.

Cleaning charge:
Please note we expect the cabins to be left in the same clean condition as at the start of your break. A cleaning charge of £70 may apply if the cabin requires a thorough clean on your departure. In these instances the charge will be deducted directly from your debit/ credit card.

Dogs:
Dogs: £25 per stay
All log cabins are dog friendly. Max 2 well behaved dogs per cabin. The dogs must not jump on or sleep on beds/sofas or be left unattended.

Logs for Wood Burner:
Ist Basket of logs included in the price.
Additional Basket of logs: £7.50 (includes kindling & paper)

Non-smoking policy:
All our cabins are non-smoking

*** Standard Cancellation Policy – January 2021:

Fees and deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by the guest, all guests making bookings direct are given the option to include “Refund Protection” at the time of booking, which provides additional refund cover for a number of risk based scenarios. Log cabin bookings with at least 4 weeks notice, and all other stays with at least 2 weeks notice, can be amended free of charge, including changing the dates (subject to availability). If the cost for the amended booking is different from the original booking, the guest will be liable for any the additional fee or receive a credit for the difference accordingly.

Third party bookings, via Pitchup, Airbnb etc, may incur an additional admin fee of £15 for amendments and may have a different cancellation policy.

If Alpine Grove is forced to cancel your booking for any reason (except for non-payment of deposit or fees), a full refund will be provided.

Payment is required in full at the time of booking if the intended stay is within 4 weeks for camping or 8 weeks for log cabins.

Provisional bookings (bookings with no deposit or fees paid) will be automatically cancelled after 7 days if no payment is received, or within 2 days if the intended stay is within 2 weeks of the booking.

Balance payments are due 4 weeks before arrival for camping and 8 weeks before arrival for log cabins, bookings may be cancelled with loss of deposit if balance payments are not made within 7 days of the due date.

We use a green energy supplier, solar panels and heat our house on site with an air-source heat pump.
