My only niggle would be the... read more very noisy neighbours especially on our last night who decided to have a disco outside ! Didn't want to complain as I do understand everyone has been locked away for a long time but between that and the road, which was surprisingly noisy I would drop a "star" but would definitely like to return perhaps to a quite area of the site, although with a massive tent like ours may be difficult! On the whole though lovely site, pool and visiting food vans! Thank you!

Friendly family run site, well located with a lovely canopy of mature trees which is perfect in a heatwave! They have a green tourism award and have obviously worked hard... read more to get this. Beautiful... read more woodland surroundings, fire pits to hire which I love during a camping trip and perfect for kids to wander around with parents feeling they are safe. The pool set up where one family used at a time due to covid was perfect and I genuinely think this is one pandemic arrangement that works so well it could remain. The owners were so relaxed and friendly and the pancake pod and pizza night really topped off a fantastic first camping trip of the year! Thanks again Alpine Grove, we will most definitely be back 🏕

The canopy provided much needed shade. The site was spotless and the arrival of the Pizza guys on Friday was a real treat.
