Our guests book a return trip before they leave

Whether you are looking for weekend camping in Somerset, a family camping holiday in the South West, or to experience the joys of a self catering luxury log cabin, Alpine Grove is ideal for you and your family. Nestled into South Somerset, we offer excellent campsite facilities near the Devon and Dorset borders. Our unique rural camping and caravanning site and log cabin retreat is both family and pet friendly!

Regularly used for weekend and midweek breaks as well as weekly or fortnightly holidays, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and escape the trappings of modern life. Our quiet, level oak woodland site is set in 8.5 acres of parkland with pitches naturally screened by rhododendrons amongst the mature oaks, beeches and birches surrounded by abundant wildlife, flora and fauna.

We have a perfect family friendly atmosphere here at Alpine Grove. Children are occupied with our safe play area including table tennis table or our outdoor heated swimming pool and the woods are great for den building. For family time, there is an abundance of safe cycle and walking tracks within the park to explore and play safely.  Further afield, we recommend exploring the Chard to Ilminster cycle path on the old railway line, part of the WWII Taunton Stop Line.
